Disney Gifting - Christmas Morning 2011
by DVP Amanda S
For Christmas morning 2011 my husband and I decided to surprise our kids with a big Christmas gift - a Disney Cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy the following year. But since we'd been forced to keep the secret for so long (we'd booked the cruise many months before Christmas) I thought it was only fair that the kids have to "work" a little for their gift. I set up a fun "gift hunt" for them to find 18 boxes hidden around the house. And inside each box was a clue that represented something about the cruise.
But since we have 3 boys (ages at the time of opening the gifts - 12, 10 and 5) they each had their own way of reacting to the gifts with only clues inside the boxes. I liked (and dreaded at the same time!) my 5 year old's response the best. :o)
