The best part of waking up is?
Another day to live life to the fullest. What is your biggest food weakness? Pasta, Pasta, Pasta!!! If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why? Ouray, Colorado--beautiful, quaint little town on top of a mountain What is your favorite TV show of all time - you've seen them all, can watch it over and over again and quote lines from it? Saved By The Bell. I remember running home after school to get to the tv first. Are you a morning or night person? I am a night owl. I love the quiet time after everyone else is asleep. What's your favorite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon? I love Sundays. We go to church as a family, then everyone gathers together at Grandma’s after to visit and eat, then a long afternoon nap! What animal would you want to be and why? I would love to have the wings of a bird and fly high in the sky above the world---what a view! What's your favorite color? Orange Summer or winter? Summer--I love laying by the pool or on the beach in the warm sun. Are you the oldest, youngest, middle or only child? Oldest of three & the only girl (bossiest too)!

Born, raised, and currently residing in Southeast Louisiana, Debra married her high school sweetheart and they are now raising their own little princess. Debra has been a pediatric nurse for 10 years. She now works only part time as a nurse and from home for Pixie and Pirate Destinations to allow more quality time for her to spend with her family. It also gives her more time to travel on Disney vacations!
Her family enjoys refurbishing their 100 year old home, attending the many fairs and festivals Louisiana has to offer, traveling together, and boat rides on the scenic waterways of southern Louisiana. Debra’s love for Disney began as a child, visiting Disney World with her family each year. After spending their senior trip together in Disney World, Debra and her husband now continue the tradition with their family - usually traveling with a minimum of 10 people each trip. They took their daughter to Disney World for her first time at 10 months old. Many trips to WDW and a Disney Cruise later, Debra's daughter is now addicted to Disney just like her mommy. Debra says that her daughter has “inherited her Disney genes’” and they enjoy making magical memories together!

If you could have a job at Disney World what would you do?
I have always wanted to be Belle. Now that she has her own cottage in the New Fantasyland, I would love to be Belle at Enchanted Tales. If you had to choose one Disney destination to visit this year, which would it be – Disneyland, Disney World, or a Disney Cruise? Any and every Disney cruise. The moment I stepped aboard my first Disney cruise I was hooked! What is your favorite Disney attraction or show? Tower of Terror is a must do for myself, my daughter, and my grandma. Sometimes we even ride it 3 or 4 times in a row. If you could visit an empty Disney park, all alone, which would it be and what would you do? Magic Kingdom. Have you read Kingdom Keepers yet? Fun, exciting, let the imagination run wild....I would go find the Kingdom Keeper’s DHIs and help them win the park back from the Overtakers. :) What’s your favorite special event at a Disney park? Hands down Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. My entire family loves this event and that’s why we usually visit WDW in October. We can’t handle if we have to miss this event. Even my grandma loves to trick or treat in Magic Kingdom. What do you do first when you board a Disney Cruise – pool or lunch? Definitely lunch--eating is half of what you do on a cruise, isn’t it? |

Why are your services free?
Pixie and Pirate Destinations, nor myself, ever charges our clients anything for our services. I am paid commission from the companies I book vacations with - Disney, Universal Vacations, Norwegian Cruise Lines, etc. You will pay the same amount of money booking a trip with me as you would if you booked it directly through the company itself. And sometimes I am able to find a better deal because of the special promotions that are available. A reservation transfer may be an option if you have already booked a vacation. As a Dream Vacation Planner (DVP) I work strictly off of commission and I hope that if you decide to book a vacation you will choose to book your vacation with me. Please keep this in mind if I do a lot of research on a vacation for you. Regardless of the number of hours I put toward helping a client plan, I am not paid hourly, Why should I book my vacation with you and Pixie and Pirate Destinations? I have an honest passion for Disney and the Disney destinations. And my Disney knowledge is up to date since this is my career. I have guidelines to follow that are put in place by Pixie and Pirate Destinations. I have been trained to provide you with the best customer service in the industry. And I am willing to work "with" you in planning your vacation. At Pixie and Pirate Destinations our motto is "go above and beyond for each client's individual needs." As a valued client, I will be here every step of the way to help you with your concerns or questions. You will have an email address and phone number where you can reach me when you need to. Once your vacation is booked I will continue to help with dining reservations, a personalized daily itinerary, an updated personal web page where you can track your reservation and more. I am here to see you through to the end of your vacation to make sure you have a magical time. What is the first step? The first step in the vacation planning process is to request a quote for your desired Disney destination. When you request a quote you have the option of choosing me as you DVP - so please be sure to click on my name or add it into the comments. Once I have your quote request I will listen to your needs and expectations, and guide you through the best options for your family. How do I pay for my vacation? To process deposits and payments for your vacation I will need your address, phone number and credit card information. I can either schedule a phone call for you to give this information over the phone, or you can use our secure website to submit for a payment. Pixie and Pirate Destinations, nor myself, will EVER personally make a charge to your credit card. You will see a charge from the Walt Disney Travel Company (or another travel vendor such as Universal Travel, Norwegian Cruise Lines, etc.). I use your card information to process your deposit or payment directly through the travel vendor (Disney, etc.). And your CC information will always be kept private. If you ever see a charge that you think is fraudulent contact your credit card company immediately. |
What will you do for me that I cannot do for myself?
Of course you can book a Disney vacation on your own - that's easy! But when you book a Disney vacation with me you have my knowledge and experience to tap into at your disposal. You will be working with someone who "knows" Disney and understands how Disney travel can change minute to minute. Because of this you can be assured that I will be able to guide you in the right direction at all times. If I do not know the answer immediately, I WILL find it out.
