What would you name the autobiography of your life?
Sarcasm, Laughter, and Ice Cream: One of these should fix it. What is your biggest food weakness? I have an over active sweet tooth, and the self control of a hungry bear when it comes to pleasing the sweet tooth! What is one thing that you wish you were great at (but you're not)? Drawing. It would be nice to be able to draw something that the kids ask for, and actually have it look like it should! Also, it looks very relaxing. What is your favorite TV show of all time? Friends. I still quote lines, know all the words to Smelly Cat, and have all the seasons (that I still watch, when there's nothing "good" on TV). Are you a morning or night person? I'm an "up all night" kind of girl. Unfortunately for me, my children are morning people Growing up, what was your dream job? I wanted to be a ballerina, in the worst way. Alas, I am not built like one, or even close to being as coordinated as one. What animal would you want to be and why? A hummingbird. They're fast, and delicate, and they spend their days zipping around from one spot to the next. If you were stranded on a lonely beach, what 5 things would you want to have with you? My sunglasses, sun block, a beach chair, lemonade, and a magazine. Ahhhh Summer or Winter? I willingly live in Vermont. As much as I complain about shoveling, there's something special about a New England winter. Where were you born? New Hampshire (New England proud!)

Liz, along with her other half Chris, and their four kids, live in
southern Vermont (no, they don't own cows or know how to make
syrup..sorry!). Having a large family household keeps Liz pretty
busy - having kids involved in
multiple activities keeps her even busier. And having a sense of humor, keeps Liz in
check. A family of animal lovers means there's plenty of pets
around too.
During good weather, Liz can often be found hanging out laundry to dry, at the local farmers markets, or geocaching. During bad weather, she can be found inside complaining about the weather, and watching movies with the family. Every member of the household is a Disney fan. There is always a trip count down (or two) happening. You can hear at least one Disney movie song being sung by someone in the house at any given part of the day. And Liz is even planning her own Walt Disney World wedding!

Who is your favorite Disney Character?
My heart belongs to Pluto, but Goofy is a very close 2nd (he's always trying to do the right thing, but it never seems to work out as planned!) Do you consider yourself a Pixie or Pirate? I think I'd consider myself to be a little of both, so I'll call myself a Pirate Pixie. If you could have a job at Disney World what would you do? I think I'd like to work in the gardening department. That way, I could be part of the group that helps keeps the parks looking beautiful. And, maybe my green thumb would work a little better than it does now! How old were you when you first visited Walt Disney World? I was 3, and though I don't remember the actual trip, I still have the pictures and can look back that way. What is your favorite Disney attraction or show? I would have to say the nightly water parade. As many times as we've seen it, it's still something special for my family. All together, watching. If you could resurrect one retired Walt Disney World attraction, character, show, event, etc, what would it be? There are so many I would love to see again! However, if I had to pick just one.. I feel it would have to be Kitchen Kabaret. Who doesn't love to see singing food? "Cha, cha, cha!"

Why are your services free?
Pixie and Pirate Destinations, nor myself, ever charges our clients anything for our services. I am paid commission from the companies I book vacations with - Disney, Universal Vacations, Norwegian Cruise Lines, etc. You will pay the same amount of money booking a trip with me as you would if you booked it directly through the company itself. And sometimes I am able to find a better deal because of the special promotions that are available. A reservation transfer may be an option if you have already booked a vacation. As a Dream Vacation Planner (DVP) I work strictly off of commission and I hope that if you decide to book a vacation you will choose to book your vacation with me. Please keep this in mind if I do a lot of research on a vacation for you. Regardless of the number of hours I put toward helping a client plan, I am not paid hourly, Why should I book my vacation with you and Pixie and Pirate Destinations? I have an honest passion for Disney and the Disney destinations. And my Disney knowledge is up to date since this is my career. I have guidelines to follow that are put in place by Pixie and Pirate Destinations. I have been trained to provide you with the best customer service in the industry. And I am willing to work "with" you in planning your vacation. At Pixie and Pirate Destinations our motto is "go above and beyond for each client's individual needs." As a valued client, I will be here every step of the way to help you with your concerns or questions. You will have an email address and phone number where you can reach me when you need to. Once your vacation is booked I will continue to help with dining reservations, a personalized daily itinerary, an updated personal web page where you can track your reservation and more. I am here to see you through to the end of your vacation to make sure you have a magical time. What is the first step? The first step in the vacation planning process is to request a quote for your desired Disney destination. When you request a quote you have the option of choosing me as you DVP - so please be sure to click on my name or add it into the comments. Once I have your quote request I will listen to your needs and expectations, and guide you through the best options for your family. How do I pay for my vacation? To process deposits and payments for your vacation I will need your address, phone number and credit card information. I can either schedule a phone call for you to give this information over the phone, or you can use our secure website to submit for a payment. Pixie and Pirate Destinations, nor myself, will EVER personally make a charge to your credit card. You will see a charge from the Walt Disney Travel Company (or another travel vendor such as Universal Travel, Norwegian Cruise Lines, etc.). I use your card information to process your deposit or payment directly through the travel vendor (Disney, etc.). And your CC information will always be kept private. If you ever see a charge that you think is fraudulent contact your credit card company immediately. |
What will you do for me that I cannot do for myself?
Of course you can book a Disney vacation on your own - that's easy! But when you book a Disney vacation with me you have my knowledge and experience to tap into at your disposal. You will be working with someone who "knows" Disney and understands how Disney travel can change minute to minute. Because of this you can be assured that I will be able to guide you in the right direction at all times. If I do not know the answer immediately, I WILL find it out.
