Switching Resorts
by DVP Lisa R
Have you ever been torn as to which resort you want to stay in while at Walt Disney World® Resort? I know for me the hotel where I stay in Disney is half the fun! When you are staying at 2 (or more resorts) while at Disney they make switching resorts super easy. There is no loading yourself, kids, your carry ons and luggage onto a Disney resort bus and then changing buses to get to a new resort. Disney takes the hard work out of moving hotel rooms mid stay. When you check out of your first resort you simply take your luggage to Bell Services and tell them you are switching to a new resort. They will move it to your new resort for you. Usually when I am doing a resort change I will take my luggage to Bell Services and head to a theme park for the day. After a day at the park I hop on the bus to my new resort. I check in and have Bell Services deliver my luggage to my new room and within minutes I am unpacking again. |
Easy Peasy!
I like ending my vacation with a day or two in a deluxe resort where I am there to enjoy the resort. While credits on the Disney Dining Plan do not carry over and must be used by midnight of the day you check out of the resort associated with your dining plan, your park tickets can carry over to the new resort. If this is something you would like to try, ask your DVP to price it for you.
