My husband and I got married while sailing on the Disney Wonder one of the ships in the Disney Cruise Line. Disney Cruise Line is a great alternative to the traditional Disney Wedding. You still get that great Disney service and quality in a more relaxed atmosphere than traditional weddings. Getting married on the Disney cruise was so wonderful. My husband and I had all of our favorite friends and family with us to share our special day. But it was more than a day - it was 4 days of fun, 4 days of spending time with those who mean the most to us. We had time to spend with each person individually. We enjoyed meals and shows as a group. We stayed up late dancing and attending the adult only clubs and events onboard. We had pictures taken with Mickey Mouse! We created life long memories together. Pixie and Pirate Destinations has also helped other Bride and Grooms (and their families) coordinate travel for their Magical Wedding Adventures. There are two basic options on location for your Disney Cruise Line wedding - on the ship of your choice or on Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. The wedding packages include everything you need for your special day. Disney Cruise Line Onboard Ceremony Package: for up to 8 guests, plus the Couple* All Disney Cruise Line ceremonies include: • On-site ceremony coordinator to coordinate your ceremony day events • Choice of personal fresh floral for the couple (You may also opt to include floral for your bridal party, available at an additional cost) • Solo musician (pianist) for the Ceremony and Cake & Champagne Celebration • Officiant to perform the ceremony • Cake & Champagne Celebration onboard the ship which includes an elegant 2-tier wedding cake with keepsake cake topper, one bottle of champagne and one bottle of sparkling cider (non-alcoholic) for the toast, served by host or hostess • Dinner for the couple at Palo on night of ceremony •One bottle of Fairy Tale Cuvee champagne for the toast, distributed by servers • Disney Cruise Line Commemorative Ceremony Certificate • Steaming for the couple's ceremony attire • The special couple will also receive an onboard stateroom credit that may be used towards merchandise, spa treatments, port adventures, and other onboard activities. (Any unused portions are non-refundable and non-transferable.) • Photography packages with Event Photographer, available for an additional cost. The legalities of the wedding license must be taken care of before your Disney ship leaves her home port. Castaway Cay Ceremony Option - Castaway Cay Ceremony (inclusive of onboard celebration): for up to 8 guests, plus the Couple* On Caribbean/Bahamian Sailings, Guests may also choose the option of having their ceremony on Disney Cruise Line's exclusive island getaway, Castaway Cay, instead of an onboard ceremony. A Castaway Cay ceremony includes: • Elements included with the onboard ceremony package • Transportation to the ceremony location for the couple and their Guests • Return transportation back to the ship for the couple and their Guests • Cake & Champagne Celebration onboard after the ceremony The legalities of the wedding license must be taken care of before your Disney ship leaves her home port.
